Session 13-15

PADICE Surgical Implant Program

Sessions 13–15: Immediate Implant Surgery, Esthetic Rehabilitation & Implant Longevity

INTRODUCTION

Sessions 13, 14, and 15 represent the final and most clinically advanced phase of the PADICE Surgical Implant Program. These sessions focus on immediate implant placement, esthetic-zone rehabilitation, management of implant complications, and long-term implant success.

The emphasis of Sessions 13–15 is on atraumatic extraction, immediate provisionalization, ridge preservation and splitting, peri-implant disease management, occlusion, and prosthetic-driven esthetics. Participants learn how to deliver predictable immediate implant therapy while maintaining tissue architecture, esthetics, and biological stability.

These sessions complete the transition from surgical implant placement to full implant case management, ensuring clinicians can treat not only ideal cases, but also failed implants, peri-implant disease, and esthetic complications with confidence.

PRIMARY CLINICAL FOCUS

  • Immediate implant placement (anterior and posterior)
  • Immediate provisionalization
  • Esthetic zone management
  • Ridge splitting and ridge preservation
  • Peri-implant disease diagnosis and treatment
  • Implant detoxification
  • Management of failed implants
  • Implant occlusion and maintenance
  • Digital documentation and dental photography

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of Sessions 13–15, participants will be able to:

Foundations of Immediate Implant Dentistry

Understand the biological and mechanical principles of immediate implant placement
Recognize indications for immediate versus delayed implant placement
Understand the role of provisionalization in tissue preservation

Diagnostics, Imaging & Treatment Planning

Interpret CBCT and clinical findings for immediate implant cases
Plan anterior and posterior immediate implant placement
Design treatment plans for esthetic-zone rehabilitation

Treatment Planning & Prosthetic Design

Develop prosthetic-driven treatment plans for immediate implants
Select provisional and final prosthetic designs for optimal esthetics
Apply occlusal principles to protect implants

Surgical & Clinical Competence

Perform atraumatic extraction protocols
Perform immediate implant placement and provisionalization
